Submission Methods
There are two primary ways to earn rewards with NoPaper:
1. Manual Upload
Upload a digital screenshot of your checkout screen or e-receipt directly within the application.
- Process: Upload > AI Verification > Reward.
- Speed: Most submissions are processed within 30 seconds.
2. Email-to-Earn (Automatic)
Link your Gmail account to NoPaper and earn rewards automatically by forwarding your e-receipts.
- Process: Link Email > Forward Receipt > Automatic Verification > Reward.
- Advantage: No need to open the app for every single submission.
The Verification Journey
Every submission undergoes a multi-layer verification process:
- Security Scan: Real-time checks for device integrity and network quality.
- AI Analysis: Our GPT-4o powered system analyzes the content of your receipt to identify sustainable items, merchant validity, and impact scores.
- Sybil Protection: Advanced on-chain and off-chain analysis ensures that each user is a legitimate individual (1 Wallet + 1 Device policy).
- Multiplier Check: The system checks your current VOT3 balance, VIP status, and active voting participation to calculate your final reward.
- Blockchain Registry: Your submission is registered on the VeChain blockchain, and B3TR tokens are transferred directly to your wallet.
AI Analysis Criteria
Our AI evaluates each receipt based on the following:
- Merchant Integrity: Is the receipt from a valid retailer?
- Item Categorization: Distinguishes between "Green Choice" (high sustainability) and "Human Needs" (essentials).
- Image Quality: Ensures the data is readable and not manipulated.
- Impact Scoring: Calculates a validity factor between 0.0 and 1.0. A score of 0.5 or higher is required for approval.
Wallet Trust Levels
Your account's age and history influence your base reward potential:

Rejected
- Extreme junk food or heavily processed candy.
- Disposable non-essential items.
- Non-retail receipts (fuel, parking, utility bills).
- Blurry, unreadable, or paper-based photos (Note: Gold Tier users are exempt from the digital-only rule and may submit high-quality photos of physical receipts).
- Duplicate submissions across multiple wallets.
