The Submission Flow
From Receipt to Reward in Seconds

1. Upload Your Receipt
When you upload a receipt, it's sent to our secure backend for processing. We accept:
- Digital screenshots of grocery receipts
- E-receipts from sustainable stores
- Proof of organic/eco-friendly purchases
The Verification Journey
- Step 1: Rate Limiting Ensures fair access for all users.
- Step 2: Device & Network Enforces the 1 Smartphone + 1 IP rule.
- Step 3: VPN Detection Blocks proxies and non-mobile networks.
- Step 4: Image Analysis Detects duplicates and modified images.
- Step 5: VIP Endorsers Human moderation for new or flagged wallets.
- Step 6: AI Validation Full content analysis of your purchase.
- Step 7: Reward Approval Your tokens are sent!
Account Flags
If you are flagged for using multiple IP addresses (e.g., switching between WiFi and Mobile Data frequently), you may be temporarily blocked. See Security & Trust for our appeal process.
3. AI Analysis
Our GPT-4o powered AI analyzes your receipt:
- Approved: Identifies sustainable items (organic, local, eco-certified)
- Approved: Checks image quality and format
- Approved: Calculates environmental impact
- Approved: Determines validity score (0.0 - 1.0)
Validity Threshold
A score of 0.5 or higher is required for approval.
4. Reward Calculation
If approved, your reward is calculated based on:
- Wallet Trust Level: Older wallets get higher rewards
- Receipt Value: Larger eco-purchases = more reward
- Ecosystem Multipliers: Bonus for ecosystem participants
5. Blockchain Registration
The reward is registered on-chain via our NoPaper smart contract:
- Transaction sent to VeChainThor blockchain
- B3TR tokens transferred to your wallet
- Submission recorded permanently
Wallet Trust Levels
Your wallet age affects your maximum reward:

What Gets Approved?
Approved:

- Farmers market receipts
- Sustainable household items
Rejected:
- Junk food, candy, soda
- Plastic bags, disposable items
- Fuel, parking, utility bills
- Blurry or unreadable images
- Photos of paper (must be digital)
